It was a great opportunity to express my passion for design, and drinking, and create a brand that matches the goals of the owner.
On a rich, hot red background, the simple curved line suggests a naked figure, standing and waiting to be embraced. It was important to me that shape be seductive, yet gender neutral, to entice the imagination to complete the image.
The bright red label with the memorable curves make for a eye catching and unforgettable branding, finding a clear niche in the highly crowded wine shelf space.
Insatiable wine has been a successful brand for Nexus, winning a number of awards, including Gold Medal at the San Fransisco Wine Competition. After many years with my clean red brand, the label recently went through an update, but still uses my line art curve as the foundation.
